HMRI's Poo Palace!

Weekdays 3 - 14 July 2023
10am - 3pm
30 minutes per session

This event has sold out, no tickets are currently available.

It was a smash hit at the Science Festival and now it is BACK! Yes, the HMRI Poo Palace is coming to Newcastle Museum these July school holidays!  Book your FREE timeslot to enter this giant inflatable digestive system!

Your Poo Palace experience will start with a ten-minute video about how your food gets through your body and turns into poo – then become a poo yourself in the Poo Palace jumping castle for 30 minutes of fun!

Bookings essential for this FREE activity!

The Poo Palace will operate 10am to 3pm on weekdays only in the July school holidays, 3 - 14 July.  All ages are welcome. Adults may accompany children with tickets into the Poo Palace, but don't need to book and additional ticket.

Accessibility
The Poo Palace is a large jumping castle and is unsuitable for people who cannot climb up a short slope, wriggle and jump.  Adults may be required to enter the Poo Palace themselves if their child becomes distressed.  Museum and HMRI staff will be supervising the safe use of the Poo Palace, however injuries may still occur due to the nature of jumping castles.

Children with additional needs
If your child is physically able to enjoy a jumping castle, but may have a disability or additional needs, we have reserved some sessions for you.  Please email cking@ncc.nsw.gov.au before 7 June or jcashin@ncc.nsw.gov.au after 7 June to find out more about these sessions.
