Supernova Summer of Science

Tue 4 Dec 2018 - Sun 24 Feb 2019
Collaborating with a range of community groups, industry researchers and organisations, including The City of Newcastle, University of Newcastle and Geological Survey of NSW, Supernova Summer of Science will deliver accessible programming and events with something for everyone, including workshops, science shows, experiments, micro talks, demonstrations, interactive displays and self-guided resources.

Visitors will be able to learn about the amazing diversity under the umbrella of science, discover interesting and unexpected careers paths, and connect with scientists from all walks of life. Exploring areas of ecology, biology, engineering, physics and lots more, this summer will take you on a journey of everything science including cross overs with broader concepts of art and design and history and highlight the interesting scientific stories weaved throughout Newcastle's history and the Museum's collection.
