Vines, Wine and Identity

Sat 4 Aug - Sun 3 Feb 2019
It's hard to even imagine our region without wine.

Grape vines have been planted in the Hunter for seven generations and a glass of wine is part of ordinary life.

This exhibition, curated by Australia's foremost wine historian, Dr Julie McIntyre, traces the history of the local wine community from convict labourers stomping grapes to the innovation of globally-recognised wine brands and styles.
